Busy-bee

I am so exhausted. Getting used to a 9-5 shift will take a while. The job itself isn't too hard, but I think the most difficult part about this job is the commute. Everyday I spend a minimum 2 and a half hours sitting on the bus, and that's on a good day. The other day, it took me an hour and 45 minutes going to work, I was lucky to get there right on time. But unlike most people who are looking forward to the weekend, I'm not...I'm fully booked!

Tomorrow I'll be at church all day. I've been attending an Alpha course every Thursday, and we have 5 more weeks left. Tomorrow is Holy Spirit day, when we get to learn more about the Holy Spirit. That will go from 9am to 3:30pm. Then at 4pm there will be a bridal shower for Kat which was organized I think by her Mom for all their friends at church.

Next weekend will be pretty hectic too...J won a trip to the Fallsview Resort at Niagara Falls. That all expense paid trip will begin on June 2nd. June 4th, we'll have to leave earlier than checkout time because I think J's nephew has confirmation that day, and Kat's other bridal shower is on the 4th at 2pm. Thank goodness that Niagara is only about an hour and a half away from Toronto. I'm going to have to figure out how I'm going to get to the shower though. If only that weekend were 4 days long! It just so happens that our bowling league banquet is on June 3rd, and I'm a little disappointed that J and I won't be able to make it, afterall, our team won the season, and this is our first year bowling in this league. Pretty impressive huh? LOL. Also, M invited us to her little boy's 5th birthday party on the 4th, which, of course we won't be able to go to as well.

J recently bought a car! Finally! But, it's not legit yet, he still has to get insurance and plates for it still. I'm a little excited about having our own car. Well, I say 'ours' because it also means, we can pretty much go where ever I want! LOL! It's not a brand new car, it's a '90 Chevy Euro, but the previous owner took good care of it and even had all the brakes and did an oil change and all that other good stuff. The car doesn't even make noise or anything, and when it's idle it's so quiet, excellent condition for a 16 year old car.
