Click!

Despite Roger Ebert's rating of Click, I loved it! I'm a little disappointed that he rated Click 2 starts out of 5, and that he rated 50 First Dates (which I love) as well as Spanglish 3 stars. I say go see it.

Actually, Click was a little bit of a relief for me. I've been watching 'award winning' or 'critically acclaimed' films lately such as Capote (which I thought was good, however way too serious for my liking), Munich, Syriana, Good Night and Good Luck, The Manchurian Candidate...etc. I was in need of some comic relief.

Did I mention I watched The Breakup recently? I love Vince Vaughn.

You know who I can't stand watching? Matthew McConaughey, he just seems so fake to me onscreen, like he's always trying to impress the chicks with his macho looks. Not that I think he's macho. Gag.

Next on the list: The Lake House.

FYI: Toronto's local talent, Romeo Candido's latest release: Ang Pamana (The Inheritance)

You know... I wanted to see Click, D. and I were even offered an advanced screening of it but I just had to decline. It seems to me that Adam Sandler is only capable of doing movies with the same story line over and over again. In fact there are only 3 movies of him that I like: Wedding Singer, Big Daddy and Longest yard... anything else and I get irritated. lol!

Oh and Matthew looks like a pervert to me. lol

I really liked The Lake House. The original film it is based on (Il Mare) is one of my favourite Korean films of all time. Also, money can't buy the chemistry Sandra and Keanu have onscreen.

So you were raised in Jeddah? I was born there and lived there for the first six years of my life.
